The Styx valley Fire Department was established in 1915, in the large town of Matterhorn. After other towns in the area realised the importance and need for a fire department, they began to create their own. In 1918, both the Flagtown and Cave Saddle Fire Departments were established. Around the beginning of WWII in 1939, the three departments realised that joining together would be even more beneficial for the Styx Valley region. This is because it would allow the departments to provide mutual aide to each other when needed.

These trucks, and this department were heavily based off of the trucks / fire department from the Roblox game 'Deer Lodge County'. Which is a Firefighting roleplay game based in Montana, with incredibly detailed trucks, realistic callouts, and regular roleplay sessions. Go check them out!

District 10 | MATTERHORN:
District 10 is the main district of the Styx Valley region. It covers the town of Matterhorn and most of the surrounding area. It is home to Styx Valley's largest station, station 1. This area is mainly equipped for urban and suburban fire rescue and EMS. Station 1 is staffed by a career fire crew, and is the most well equipped and trained department in the region. District 10 is also home to Station 12, which is home to Styx Valley's spare apparatus. It is nearly always un-staffed, and is mainly there to shelter and maintenance the spare fire apparatus until they need to be used if another truck goes out of service.

District 20 | FLAGTOWN:
District 20 is located in a small prairie region. It is home to station 4 which is staffed by a combination of volunteer firefighters and career firefighters. This station is designed to service urban areas, and some of the surrounding rural areas. It commonly responds to motor vehicle accidents and other rescue calls. Station 2 is also located in district 20. It is staffed by career firefighters, and is designed to service more urban areas.

District 30 | BEAR LAKE:
District 30 is located in the western region of Styx Valley, it is located in a small oil drilling town. This district is home to station 18. This station is a fully volunteer station that focuses on responding to rural emergencies. This station often gets called to forest fire emergencies, vehicle accidents, and HAZMAT calls.


Styx Valley is a fictional region located in the state of Montana, it covers an area of roughly 250 square km. Styx valley became a prominent trade route in the early 1800's between Montana and the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, this trade route was a very high traffic area, which caused many settlements and towns to pop up along the route.

Styx Valley got it's name due to the brutality of the trade route, and the many lives of travellers it took, caused by its harsh weather conditions, and dangerous terrain. People in the area named it this in reference to the 'Styx River' from Greek mythology.

This collection contains all of my Fire Rescue and EMS apparatus designed to be apart of the Styx Valley Fire Department.


Updates:
16/05/23 | Engine-Tanker 7 was updated with some small details to look more up-to-date with the other trucks. All other trucks were updated with very small extra details (e.g., mud flaps, interior lighting, wheel chock holders, drawers, exhausts, etc). Installed brick rigs creations do not automatically update, so you will need to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe to these trucks if you want to access these small changes.
