Check other subscribition in files. Some of autors like placeing the standard weapon models, with the maps. and that confilct with any replacements. This is stupid, but some of people do that,with no exact reason, couse you need place something in .gro, only in case when item is not in main game root .gro. Check your workshop root, and check every .gro files, delete everything that have cannon files, except this addon. As i remember Clown temple has that issue, and University map.

I've just subscribed to item and it doesn't appear - just default cannon stays: world model, view model and sounds

In what way? Does it not appear in game, or does the game break? I find that extracting the gro file into the game folder does the trickl.
