Description
Just adds crafting for High Elfs for anyone who wants a standalone version.



Amidst the sacred halls of the Shrine of Vaul, a priest-smith toiled with reverence and care. Flames danced in the vast forge as ancient runes, symbols of the gods' blessings, shimmered on the walls. The air was thick with the scent of molten metal and divine magic. With an unwavering hand, the priest-smith carefully poured fiery liquid into the sword's mold, the gods' whispers guiding their every move. As the red glow of the metal dimmed, the weapon's true form emerged: a sword of unparalleled craftsmanship, imbued with the divine essence of Isha and Asuryan. This was no mere weapon, but a holy symbol of power and hope, destined to cleave through darkness and despair, a testament to the High Elves' eternal devotion to their deities and the protection of their realm.




My Druchii Blood Forge mod but for...*sighs and mutters under breath about being nice*..for the...*spits out of habit* Asur...filt-*visibly shudders*...factions.

Like the Druchii version contains all common, uncommon, rare items from their WH2 base lists, and crafted items from their dilemmas(can tell not a High Elf player, had no clue even had crafted items lol).

Unlike Druchii version, don't need slaves(duh), so just jacked up costs by 1000g across the boards. Resource restrictions per rarity are the same for consistency except need iron for uncommon weps' and armour.

**If into writing lore feel free to drop your submission in the discussions(general), I'd like to have a blurb up for this one too for the mod page but I really don't know High Elves so I'll have to do little reading first. If feel like read one that fits, I'll pick and add it/your name to the credits. ChatGPT wrote current one to save me some time so we have something "cool" up, but yeah, rather a human end o' day lol
Dark Elf Version

Known issues: Some of the long description text for few items gets cut off, apologies, no clue how to alter that in the UI yet, but I am aware of it.

To do:
Replace few of vanilla placeholder assets like the dwarven anvil/or runes at least

Only item couldn't find from the WH2 wiki charts was "Moon Lance". I have sneaking suspicion CA forgot to port it over from 2 due to name change confusion with Imrilk's weapon. One day, maybe, I'll create a sub for it with same stats, but time being could not find it in the db.

Notes:
- Some item rarities have changed from WH2(probably some stats too), this mod is not altering that, I just pull them from the db tables as they are in vanilla.
- Unique/legendary items are not something ever likely to add to these forge mods, try out making few of my own lore inspired entries one day? sure if mood strikes me, but not the existing vanilla ones. Kinda cheapens them/robs certain factions/heroes of their uniqueness imo if can just craft any of those in the game and this was never intended to be a "craft anything" cheat mod.


Compats, Update Please!, SFO, Etc?
Just some edits/additions to db tables, and some new folders for Dark Elf UI skins(might take a stab at fully customising those assets in future); should be fine with most things/future game updates.

Can I use this for my mod, or as a template for another faction?
It's a sure thing you can. One request though: If you figure out anything with UI issue on those boxes(ie getting them to resize) before I do, let me know please :D

What Dylan said, it’s pretty easy and I don’t even care if upload as own “variant” haha, been over my stance on that enough.

If you want epic items, just change the database values for items already in the mod.

Oh, ya I would not edit this mod directly. Also, as I said, this is not something even if I do it that will happen any time soon.

As there are other mods buffing the items, I'd either leave that out or make that a submod/separate mod. If you do buff the items, I'd end up having to pick which mod's changes to keep and possibly keep a local edited copy of one of the two mods in /data to make them compatible.
