More Mechanitor Towers

Description
Build Mechanitor Towers that can replicate the order signals to mechs.





  • Are you tired of having to stand near your battle mechanoids?

  • Does moving from your bed in the middle of the night just to tell some mechs where to go bother you?

       Worry no longer! 'More Mechanitor Towers' is designed just for you, lazy mechanitors!



This mod adds multiple new buildings to help you with managing and enhancing your mechanoids, and to extend the range of control your mechanitors can have; while still balancing the strength of this mechanic in a new and interesting way. While the towers do increase the range of command your mechanitor may have, each tower can only command a set number of mechanoids within it's range.

Um, I'm not sure whether to report it here or to the RimSort devs, but the mod load checking seems to not get along with RimSort. It seems to append _steam to the mod package ID in ModsConfig.xml (a way to tell RimWorld to load the Steam version specifically?) and this makes More Mechanitor Towers think that the dependencies are not loaded.

Dunno if there's a better way to detect it, or maybe the way to go is to just put a notice in the compatibility info section. Just thought I'd post about it here.

You`d better add <disableImpassableShotOverConfigError>true</disableImpassableShotOverConfigError> to @Name="MechTowers_BuildingBase", it can block the impassable ErrorLog.

I tried to connect the towers to my gestalt engine, but the towers don't recognize the gestalt engine as a mechanator - using the gestalt engine from the following mod:

I feel like I'm doing something wrong as well. I have the Bandwidth Tower built, but it isn't giving my Mechinator more Bandwidth

Can these be used to not have a mechanists and hook up mechanoids to only these, or does it still need a mechanitor. If it needs a mechanitor then can this be used with gestalt engine
