40% virtue base chance

Description
Modification changes the value of base virtue chance increasing it from 25% up to 40%. (affliction chance decrease from 75 down to 60)
It's not affect any caps, so you can increase/decrease it by quirks, trinkets or whatever till it's original caps(5% and 99% as well).

A few years ago I used a similar modification, alas it's not available anymore, so I decided to create it myself.
If anyone need any other values for some reason, you can ask me to create it (35% for example).

Hello. If you mean original DLCs, they are all share one settings file which is modified by this mod. Also, I have to assume that there could be mod characters with their own settings, however quite unlikly.

Hello there. Thank you for the mod; could you please clarify whether it works with DLCs or not?

If you played on Darkest, it meant that everything worked fine all the time for you(ofc assuming you enabled it on your save file(it dosn't require a new game)). Other difficutlies had their own settings which I forgot to change when I uploaded the mode. So before patch it affected the Darkest difficutlt only(plus Bloodmoon, because I believe that they share the same settings file with Darkest).

Anyway, thanks for kind and warm words of you, but I guess we just share the same curse :steamhappy: I really apreciate your support and I hope our contribution to this community gonna make it shine more :)

To be perfectly honest, in my playthrough I had 3 consecutive afflictions, however after that I had much more virtues like I had much more then just 40% chance of it. Despite the fact I made a test and my results are beyond expected(less then 25% virtue), I'm convinced I just had a really unlucky streak on a small distance. This is scientific fact that people dosn't have good understanding of probability working.

Goodness you really carried out a thorough test! It pretty much convinced me that you must be as much meticulous and earnest in real life. My honour and privilege to get your timely response.

With all these results, we can practically conclude that the real, functioning Virtue chance is affected by something beyond the rewritable value. And I assume you are right about the difficulty thing. Right after I subscribed to your MOD, I started a new game on Darkest difficulty, where I experienced the seeming unluckiness. I may test it on Radiant later on.

I will as well resubscribe to it, give it a shot and report how it works then. Again I am very glad to hear that my curse is lifted, and to get to know a skillful mod-creator and warmhearted game aficionado like you.

Okay, I just test it out. There was my results:
a,a,a,a,v,a,a,v,v,a,a,a,a,a,v,v,a,a,v,v,a,a,a,a,a,a,a,a (40%)
and it gave me the same doubts you had.
Then I decided to change values(without any code) to 99% virtue and just 1% of afflection and I got this:
v,v,v,a,v,v,v,v,v,v,v,v,v,v,v,v (99%).
As it seems to me, we are extremely unlucky. I even managed to get affliction to proc with 1% chance. Or else it could be some hardcoded valueses, but I REALLY doubt it.
Besides that, if you played on Radiant or NG+ difficulties, it could really doesn't work. Eventhogh I patched it out, my stubborn game didn't want to update mod, so I had to resubscribe to it.
I would like to ask you describe your future expirience, and if it happen again, we will consider it together :)

I'm sorry but I doubt if the modified virtue chance REALLY works. I had 6 consecutive times of infliction without a hint of going virtuous. This, if is not ascribed to the MOD itself, is indeed a misfortune that has a mere 4.67% chance to come up.

I do have wretched luck as I could literally fall into the inspection shaft and get myself covered in shyt, but still it's hard to believe... No matter what plz recheck the MOD. Should it have any flaw, please let me know that I'm not that cursed.
