Broken Shield (Beta Build)

Presenting ÆGIS, a mercenary group named after the famous shield of Pallas Athena.
Fighting for a future never to come and a history that never existed this mysterious unit is trapped in a dark coil of violence.

Broken Shield is a mod aiming to add a faction to the game that can be used without special dependencies.
Note that this mod is in an early Beta and got released to check some stuff under common soft- and hardware circumstances. There is a lot of content to come in future updates.

At the moment its containing a helmet with 2 different versions, a beret, goggles, a gasmask, glasses and a balaclava which is more items than i have in my fridge. Most of these items are being available in different slots so any wished combination can be achieved. Now we added 3 weapon versions of the HK G56, a mockup gun and added custom reload and holding animations. If you notice any bugs im happy to hear about them and we will try to solve occuring problems.

What would a mod be without being updated? Dead!
Thats why we wanna give at least a little spoiler on what is planned.

• Different textures for the HK G56 guns
  
• A full vest system based on the UARM FAS
  
• Custom uniforms based on the TRU-SPEC Tactical Response Uniform
  
• All of these of course in different camo designs
  
• Retextures of vehicles and other useful equipment
  
• A bunch of useful modules for every mission maker

A big thanks to JC as for now everything in this mod is modeled, textured and ported by him.
Also thanks to Exocet for porting the guns and adding the custom animations on them.
Also props to Bohemia Interactive [www.bohemia.net] for giving us Arma III or something (please wait with the A4 release since i wanna use this mod some time).
