Humanity had descended into the deepest of pits, all from which there could be no return. Marked with the worst of degeneracy, endless war raged as mankind sought to bury itself in misdeeds. The darkness of yesteryear's bitter details will forever be unknown, as a sudden blinding light pierced into the pit. Watchers from deep space cast great hieroglyphic constellations in the stars; a great golden blaze shone over corpse-covered battlefields, shocked expressions upon the faces of the fighters just locked in combat before the light consumed them. And so, history began to repeat. And so it shall, until "their" intentions are fulfilled.

Lifeweb is a heavily atmospheric, post-apocalyptic sci-fi roleplaying game on Garry’s Mod only partly inspired by the manuals and resulting book series dedicated to the 1996 Fading Suns tabletop. In total, Lifeweb is an interpretation and love-letter meant for all things good, free, and passionate. Everyone has one chance to get on and stay aboard: don’t waste it!

Importantly, Lifeweb is a solo work unaffiliated with any established server owners, developers, or groups you may know. Our community is open, and hopes to establish a clear 'starting point' for those interested in serious roleplay.
