Smash!


This mod adds a few variations of zombie death sounds. Different stab and smash effects for those tired of the same old ones when going on a killing spree or defending your base from hordes.

Works in multiplayer (co-op and dedicated servers) and it's safe to add it mid-game!

I was just following the audio files that the game uses. I know FLAC and WAV are the loseless type of files. I don't understand the purpose of your comment but ok. Thanks for using it.

If you say that when using WAV audio, then you didn't know WAV is much like raw audio but ready to play AND you can just convert it (since the audio quality is as good as it was upon creation, minus the space wasting, it ain't like MP3 which always loses quality; only FLAC is like WAV in that it's also lossless but unlike WAV it supports compression natively and is actually free) AND conversion is much easier than you seem to think/know.

Yes, they are only sounds. I'm not content with the mod tho, I want to make the files in ogg or another format because 1.449 MB for barely 10 sounds is not good :sadkitty:

Its the little things they say...but getting bored of the sound of killing zombies would be a fucking disaster. This keeps me going

I'm pretty sure it's a conflict with Superb Survivors and/or Superb Survivors Continued. I've had it happen when I kill a zed, but mostly when an NPC kills a zombie it'll make a loud jarring static pop noise. It almost sounds like the sound file is being compressed to a single millisecond and played instantly.
