In 1066, England and Norway were reunited to the North Sea Empire under the triumphant leadership of Harald Hardrada, changing the history of Europe forever.

Almost eight hundred years have passed and the world is unrecognizable - yet, at the same time, very familiar. The flame of revolution burns in Hellada, the successor to the decadent Byzantine Empire, while Europe is led by a hegemony, carved out by the great German conqueror Karl Richter - yet, is it truly unassailable?

In the New World - Avalon and Brasil, collectively known as Bravalon - democratic folkstats arise from former European colonies, yet at the same time fighting amongst themselves and treading dark paths. In the East, enormous Suri and Xu empires prosper, yet, their dominance in Asia turns more and more vulnerable each passing day.


This total conversion mod is based upon the alternate history timeline "This Sceptred Isle", with only a handful of adjustments. I do not own any rights to the original work and thank its author Major Crimson for both his excellent work and his permission to make this mod.

It is a mod set in a world where Harald Hardrada successfully seized the throne of England from Harold Godwinson in 1066, defeating both the Saxons and the Normans, and established a lasting Anglo-Norse England. This is far from the only change in the timeline, however, and the world by 1836 has greatly diverged.

This mod, however, is still in very early phase of development, though it is playable. Some obvious things (such as state names) will certainly be updated and edited in later releases.
