In the documents you presented, you mentioned that the german controlled market in europe is very restrictive of foreign trade. How about implementing that as a modifier to all those who enter or are in the german market with an import and export malus? That would help balance a lot through limiting german access to exotic resources like sugar, dyes, silk, tea, etc.

the new big natives could be split up so they don't get eaten as easily by native uprisings. Makes colonizing less RNG and take considerably longer

@Calmarius Wendlund should start with Freedom of Conscience, yes, that was an oversight. I am working on an update which will add some fixes, new JEs and other content, and that'll be one of the fixes
@doutor_pimpolho Germany is supposed to have been formed after a soft revolution (they are a Not!Napoleonic state after all) so I don't think I'll give them too many poor starting laws but I'll give it a look for sure. State Religion perhaps, yeah. Over time with JEs and events they should get a limiter as well

The only thing I would suggest is that maybe Poland should be freedom of conscience since the Czechs are mostly Protestant and if they unified into Wendland I'd assume the Poles would of had to make concessions to keep the Czechs on side idk tho

@doutor_pinpolho I don't think state religion makes sense for Germany as I assume it would be about unifying all Germans. I mean when Germany unified there were plenty of Catholic princes and kings like Saxony for example.

Awesome mod, I like how almost every country starts somewhat small economy and you build it all from near scratch. I just recommend that germany have national supremacy, state religion and some other damaging laws because they are an absolute beast lol

One of the things to remember was that Jorvik was the second largest trading hub in Europe ca. 900. In an alternate history it should continue to grow in importance for commercial reasons as well as cultural ones if the Vikings actually had their armor with them, not on another ship, and were able to win up north in 1066. A showdown between the Vikings and William would be in the offing with England as the prize. CK2 offers some fun times experimenting with that sort of thing.
