Description
Corduba (v1.0)

Description:
This map is set in the roman city of Corduba, in the 2nd-3rd century.

I tried to recreate the city as historically accurate as possible, although there are some small changes aiming to make the map more playable and interesting to defend and attack.

Instructions:
You can play the map in custom and multiplayer battles.

Credits:
  • Some prefabs are from Creative Assembly and Doomon15.
  • Screenshots were taken using Reshade.

-----------------

Making this map was a big effort since I had to figure out how the map editor works.

If you liked it, I'd appreciate if you could rate it and add it to favorites :)

Have fun!

Hey man, great map! I was wondering - would you like a new "loading_screen_radar.jpg" image painted for this map, in the style of the original game's maps? I've been doing it a lot recently and I can definitely do one for this map if you'd like so that the loading/minimap radar's aesthetic is more in line with the vanilla game. Here's one of the paintings I did for the "greek_minor_city_c" settlement from R2.

Just by looking at the images I can tell that the map is absolutely beautiful. It is how a Roman city had ought to look in the game with myself loving the details of seeing one of the area outside the city with the arena and the massive private country villa that would be among the many that began to spring up during the 4th to 5th Centuries AD. It is a shame that Creative Assembly didn't have a map of having to fight in and around one of these beautiful structures.
