Boat Launched Glider Challenge

See how far you can glide. Then try making your own glider.

The boat goes 185kph, and you control it from the glider, so no second player is needed.

For the challenge: spawn on danger zone, aim toward the loop-d-loop, and release the glider at the first dock, then see how far you can glide. Or spawn in treasure island and aim just to the right of the sign.

Controls:

LEFT SHIFT- Boat Throttle and Jets
SPACE- Release Glider
WASD - The Usual

Notes:
Air controls don't seem to work on the glider once it's released, so if you make your own, you'll need to add control surfaces.

You don't have to hold W if you are pressing Left Shift. It engages the boats engines too. If you are holding W when you release your glider (and you have W controlling pitch forward) it will nose dive.

When making your own glider, you might want to hook up the left shift control on the boat to the elevators, so it climbs when you release it. This isn't strictly necessary, but it helps.

The heavier the glider is, the more forward momentum it will have (stored energy) when it is released.
