Description
New Update:
Added him to the Changeling faction
Frost Fang can be taken

What it does:
Adds a new armoury based (daemon prince style) legendary lord to the game, recruitable when playing as a Warriors of Chaos, Norscan or mono-god factions. Like the daemon prince he gets his skills from visible weapons and armours rather than skills, with new wargear being unlocked each time he ranks up. Additionally, upon Reaching rank 30 the final tier of gear unlocks is reached and the Norscan can steal the weapons and characteristics of other legendary lords by defeating them in battle.

Items:
the items are from the chaos units and other legendary lords given a unique set of effects, with over 300 items and well over 1000 effects there is basically no limit to combinations.

Note that all items have basic hidden effects that just make sense, i.e. heavier armour has more mass, bigger and blunter weapons have more knock-back. White and green gear reduces his personal upkeep cost and god aligned armour increases the authority of that god etc. Ideally this will all work as you expect without cluttering up the display.

Balance:
As a general rule i'm aiming to make the Norscan start much weaker than other lords, but rise to equal legendary lords late game, giving the player a sense of raising up the ranks of chaos from a mere norscan marauder to legendary chaos lord. The slow start being the trade off for the versatility of the hero.

In terms of individual items, I have tried to use the stats to balance out the unusually strong abilities but honestly there are just too many items doing such wildly different things to be able to get a clear view to compare them, let me know if you can see any outlier items that you think are too strong/weak or are just worse versions of an equal tier item.

When playing as Norsca and confederating a LL from the mixu mod the Norscan can disappear.

Should play nice with most stuff
Save game compatibility: can be added mid game but probably won't like being removed

MCT compatible, use this if you want to test all the items or disable the level requirement for weapon stealing


Known Issues:

When switching weapons the character does not change pose to match with in the character screen: Don't worry, this only affects that one screen and the Norscan should still animate correctly in campaign/battle. The bug started in the immortal empires patch, seems to be effecting the daemon prince too, hopefully when CA fixes it for him it will fix it here too

I don't know if it's a Mod Conflict or an actual issue with this mod, but Khorne Marauder Pauldrons are Borken.

Seconding the ask for a list of Talismans. Not sure who's got them and it makes it hard to know when I should prioritize sending the Norscan after a specific LL.

@Bloothtooth - There's a mod that allows renaming of Legendary Lords, and while it's ancient, it's still servicable.

Big ask I know, but would it be possible to have a customizable lord like this for each race? Doesn't need to be each faction, just one per race would be a game changer. Also is it possible, or would it be possible to change the name of the lord in campaign as currently it just calls him legendary lord, the ability to name, evolve and customise a lord would be perfect and exactly what this game needs.

getting one of these for other factions like the empire, lizardman, or vampire counts would be amazing. The empire one could be a mix of the order factions like empire, kislev, dwarfs and elves. I would love to do it if I could figure out how to. Otherwise, would that be a possibility or way too much work?

Can you make the norscan saveable? and usuable in multiplayer? i imagine you cannot. Could not imagine how intensive the coding would be. But i was thinking it might be possible because daniel exists
