Description
"Commander, I think you'll want to have a look at this; the salvage team we sent down into those abandoned military depots have returned with a full report on their findings. They weren't able to scavenge much in the way of supplies or ammunition, though they did manage to secure a couple of these heavily armored blast-resistant suits. We aren't sure what their intended purpose was before the war, however there's no denying the advantages this gear could grant us out in the field in our fight against ADVENT. The aliens like to pride themselves on their intimidating visual aesthetics, but this armor might just give 'em a run for their money. What do you think?"

Mod Info:
This armor mod adds the iconic and imposing outfit of the original MW2 Juggernaut to your XCOM 2 campaign.

The gear options provided include:
  • 6 Helmets (3 default, 3 tinted)
  • 6 Torsos (3 default, 3 tinted)
  • 2 Torso Decos (1 default, 1 tinted)
  • 6 Arms (3 default, 3 tinted)
  • 4 Legs (2 default, 2 tinted)
  • 8 Shoulder Pads (4 for each shoulder; 2 default, 2 tinted)
  • 2 Lower Face Props & 1 Upper Face Prop

**This armor is male only.**

This is my very first attempt at porting character models over to XCOM 2. I put a great deal of effort into this, so I hope you all find this to your liking! Also, if you happen to be knowledgable in the practice of porting over character models and notice anything off about my work, please let me know! I'd like to get better at doing this, so any and all constructive feedback is greatly appreciated. Take care and God bless :)

*This armor is best used in conjunction with the following mods:
- (TD) THE DIVISION: First Wave - Bluebird Outfit [WOTC] | The bluebird gas mask just looks sublimly badass when paired with the jugg's outfit.
- [WOTC] MW2 Shadow Company Voicepack | The deep, distorted voices of the Shadow Company PMCs go surprisingly well with the intimidating nature of the juggernaut.
- Payday 2 Bulldozer Voicepack | This voice also fits the juggernaut well for obvious reasons.

Not sure if you know this already, but since I read a comment about the model appearing black. If you're building a mod it's always a good idea to clear the mod folder in your SDK directory as otherwise your new mod´s shaders might become dependent on the one in that folder making them appear solid black for other users.

Not sure what's going on there. The tintable versions work fine for my friends and I.

@Beat I use an open source asset extraction tool called “Greyhound” [github.com] which supports pretty much all the old COD games. I simply run it in the background, start up the game that I want to rip the assets from, press the “load game” button which then imports all of the assets currently loaded in-game, then I export the ones I want.

It’s an amazing tool, and probably the easiest part of the whole process.

@Asythe Oh, my apologies, I didn’t mean that in a bad way. It’s extremely impressive what you’ve managed to accomplish on the workshop, man! I just thought it could use a little variety is all :)

If you’re actually considering tackling some of the CoD AW stuff I’d seriously love to see it! You’re very talented, so you’d do the game justice but giving its models some proper ports. Keep up the awesome work friend!

If you're porting models over from the original mw2. Thats amazing. I made a character pool for the OT MW cod characters and had like 20 different cosmetic mods so I could build each character. What software are you using to get the character models if I may ask?

@Unslain Dragon The workshop being dominated by fortnite and overwatch I think its my fault sorry.... I have a plan to do some COD MW2019 and COD AW outfit mods as a personal work, glad to see someone else doing old CODs like that, cant wait to see the BO2 stuff!

given the bulkiness of the armor itself you could probably get away with using the unedited model on female soldiers
