Description
---Updated for 6.1!

Lets you choose Character Variants (where applicable).

Snek's Extra Variants (the whole bunch of them!) are compatible out of the box, thanks to Snek.
Other modded variants will need to be made compatible. This means that you simply won't be able to choose them, not that the game will crash or anything of that sort.

Modeurs extraordinaire please see the Compatibility thread to make your mods compatible.

Campaign only!
This mod is save game compatible, you can install it with an ongoing campaign and uninstall anytime. It should be compatible with any other mods. Let me know if any issues arise.

Known issues:
-Character portrait icons won't update until you close the Character details panel.

Does this work with multiplayer?
I've made some improvements on that front. Try it and let me know.

This is very unlikely to be caused by this mod because the mod does not include game data, it's only a lua script.

Did you disable the mods using CA's launcher? It's very likely you have what the community calls "ghost mods", mods that remain activated despite being deactivated in the launcher. Go to "%APPDATA%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\logs", open "modified.log" , it should only list "!marthvariantselector.pack".

If it shows other stuff, you need to clean up your data folder, delete the Launcher folder in "%APPDATA%\The Creative Assembly" and then start using one of the community launchers.

Me neither. My 2D portholes are frequently bugged now, showing the wrong lord or hero, and when I recruit a new hero they often display a Greenskin placeholder card. When I attach them to an army the card will often update to the variant I chose, but sometimes it just defaults to the 1st hero variant card despite the character screen showing a different variant. I never had this issue pre-patch. It's so strange.

@Luthurram Im having the exact same issue all a sudden as well. Save reloading isnt working for me unfortunately.

Just enable out of date mods, the mod is working just fine in 6.2.

Also, use one of the community launchers.

Read the description. And sometimes they won't update until you save and reload, can't do anything about that, it's how the game handles variants.
