Description
Hello there! This is a relatively simple mod that changes Vlad & Isabella back to a Legendary Lord pair rather than the Legendary Lord + Legendary Hero combo added in WH3.

According to one of Creative Assembly's Immortal Empires Blog posts, there was apparently a lot of internal debate about this change for WH3. This mod attempts to put that choice in the Player's hands instead!

Bonuses of this change:
  • 1 of the 2 Vampire Heroes you normally start with (Melissa Rahtep and Emmanuelle Posner) will no longer be murdered to make room for either Vlad or Isabella!
  • This affects when you fight them as AI enemy Lords as well, meaning you can now fight Isabella once again to get her "Regeneration" Legendary Lord defeat trait! (+10% Army Replenishment)
  • All text has been updated to account for this change (see screenshots) The Battle Healing cap inherent Traits now apply when reinforcing each other's armies instead of being in the same army.

COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be relatively compatible with most mods, however, anything that affects the Vlad/Isabella script "wh_dlc07_schwartzhafen_undying_love.lua" and the main "wh_quests.lua" scripts will be incompatible, so be forewarned!

You will need to start a new campaign to ensure that Vlad & Isabella come into play as scripted.

KNOWN ISSUES:
If your Faction Leader is Vlad, Isabella's Quest Battles could not be started, and vice versa.
To get around this issue, both Lords are instantly awarded their Quest Items on either campaign started. There may not be a simple resolution for this until CA exposes more of the hidden logic behind the ability for certain Lords to start quest battles.

I thought about it ages ago but I recall it being more trouble than it's worth, or rather, I didn't have the time or inclination to do it (start_pos shenanigans and more scripting)

If someone finds a way to do it I'd be happy to add it though!

Is it possible to make non-player Vlad/Isabella faction use Isabella as faction leader or choose faction leader randomly every new campaign game?

If you aren't playing Vlad/Isabella then the faction leader will be Vlad every time; he'll hire Isabella as another Legendary Lord some time after Turn 1

Updated for baseline 6.1 - no obvious changes were needed after some testing; mainly forcing the Mod Manager to change from the warning icon to the green checkmark icon instead
