UPDATE:
updated to latest your b/c some said it wasn't appearing anymore. not sure why, as there shouldn't be any changes. but, hoping this will fix it.

DESCRIPTION:
Full Vorlon shipset from Babylon 5 TV series, includes full starbase (different models for dif sections) and models for each ship size.

LukavSlambert, the creator of the B5 shadows shipset and species mod who helped me with some textures. and avatar, who helped me learn how to do all this.


MODELS: My computer art skills being limited, most of these were made by far more talented people than myself. At most, I modified them and put things together to create sort of hodgepodge models for a bit of diversity.

yeah, that's been an issue with a number of shipset mods, defaulting to biological vs mechanical. idk what was doing it, though. so was planning to look after work-- though, to be fair, this SHOULD be a biological one, really. just need to work it out a bit.

as of the last update (4.0.2) this mod starts in the biological area of the shipsets (new split - mechanical (requires alloys for upkeep) biological (requires food). Thought you should know

lol, my issue has always been that where they add more weapons slots i've always been one to think that actual weapon slots for a ship should reflect that actual ship.

vorlon and shadows both have basically one weapon port, and though you can slot a few in that one spot (like 1 large, 2 medium firing from the same place) I've always been more in favor of instead keeping slots more limited and increasing rate of fire and power for those slots.

earth force for instance, has a lot of different ship designs and models and you could easily fill up all those new ship sizes with designs, but it's not like every empire is gonna be the same. and if they are then to me it's kind of boring. everyone just has access to the same things, no advantages or disadvantages.

*the caveat, if I can i'd like to find a way to condition it on if you have the dlc. so that those who don't can still use the same mod. but for those who do, they will use them as organic ships

i'd already been working on my own system in a larger mod. but interested to see what they do with them in this update.

likely i'll make these ships organic following the way they do it in this update.

Now that we're getting biological ships, do you have any plans to adapt the Vorlon shipset to make it biological? It would be cool to see Vorlon cruisers grow larger and evolve to become battleships the way that the show hinted at them doing.

there honestly aren't a lot of models for vorlon.

and really I've been leaning in the opposite direction, to match ship sections with cannon weapons as closely as i can. for vorlon that would mean just a few forward facing energy weapons, but likely something like increased fire rate to compensate.
