along with recompiling all weapon models to use bodygroups, add mag drop support / better 3rd person reloads, and have 3 LODs
ive also either completely remade or tweaked almost every particle effect in all the packs
any 4k or 2k textures goes to 1k ( except in very rare cases where too much detail is lost )
basetexture/phongexponent is dxt1 or I8 except for things that have alphas which are dxt5 or IA88
normals are lossless because bc looks bad on the phong/env mask inside the alpha
im generally not very good at texture conversion so i take what i can get and try to keep as much detail as i can with the original assets
