Land vehicles for Stormworks

Ranger Rex

R-escue EX-plorer, or REX, is as full of capabilities as the higher end BBW water vehicles in a land based package. REX can handle most land missions from structure fires, cargo parcels, vehicle towing, moderate refuelling, rescues and even acts a mobile camper for the operator. Its 6 wheel drive, steering and braking technology with a powerful belly engine have even gotten it to climb up to the lips of volcanoes! REX does excellent work as a land side parcel delivery or gather vehicle working in conjunction with using a Columbia boat or larger Yukon for the island or arctic travels.

Man series:

These are ATV (all terrain vehicle) or UTV (utility terrain vehicle) sized land vehicles. These actually handle a lot of what Stormworks has for missions. The smaller size helps with balance and the player doing recovery if in the wilds it did somehow roll over. Don't do that with a full sized fire truck.

Minuteman = Rescue ATV for most land side missions. First of my own I developed. Includes tansponder locator. Meant to be used like a shore launched rescue boat in dashing out to find people and bring them to safety.

Farmerman = Made a slim and simple version for a baseline. Could be used for parcels. Also handy if you have an airbase and just want to drive to and from different spots on base.

LazyFarmer = Joke vehicle on how easy it was to fit a bed onto the Farmerman. In Stormworks the only accelerate time is to use a bed. Could be used for roleplay or waiting. Still has the trailer hitch so you could use it for that too.

Medicman = Has two beds of which one is the timepassing sleep bed and the other is medical bed. Decent at moving and treating casualties.

Racerman = Building up various engine sizes this is a 14 cylinder engine kitted out as an off road racer. Lots of fun with flips and rolls. Could be used in multiplayer to hold same car races.

Bushman = Expands on the idea of having the two different beds by giving them a canopy. Now operates as a Mobile Rescue Outpost where you could station yourself for days out in the wilds waiting for a call to rescue. Handles most of the SW missions. Difference from the Minuteman is the Bushman has the beds and canopy while the Minuteman has a locator system and its lower centre of gravity makes it easier to drive.

Postman = Specialised for parcel, package and passengers. A 5x5x7 cargo bay with swing doors each side properly secures multiple parcels and passengers. Exterior seating brings the passenger count to eight (8). Still equipped with various handhelds including a fire outfit and three (3) extinguishers. The extra height does make it more top heavy so a slower drive speed is recommended.

Carts:

A few carts are here for use with the land vehicles. These need to be towed by a vehicle for long distance travel. Most of my carts are sized to be pushable by the player on foot. Most have a battery to power their onboard systems when not hooked up to a vehicle though may need to be hooked up to something to recharge.

Pumper Cart = This is for fire fighting against large fires like houses, structures or forest fires. As a pumper is has both a way to pump water out a hose and a way to refill its water.

Fuel Cart = Different sizes for moving fuel.
