Softer Corruption Graphics

Description
The corruption visuals in the campaign map are very cool, but when it reachs high values it will drastically stop at borders creating jarring edges and no blending between the corrupted region and the clean area on the other side.

This mod simply tones down a little the corruption visuals so that it will rarely reach the borders and feel smoother.

Props like Nurgle bubbles or Tzeench crystals or trees will still cover the whole province like vanilla

Update: CA promised a fix for the border issues, when they will fix it I will update the mod description.

TUTORIAL: If you wanna edit the intensity of the corruption, where intensity means how much it spreads, you need to

Open the mod with RPFM

go into materials\environment\campaign

go into materials/environment/campaign/campaign_combi_corruption.xml.material

edit the line called "blend_linearity"

put a value between 0.1 and 1.0, where the first is 10% and the latter is 100%.

Vanilla default is 0.8 (80%)

I think it's very much a matter of taste now, the CA fix looks alright.

This mod looks much better than CA's images I will prefer to keep this mod.

The fix CA made in this patch is a proper fix since it removes the blocky borders.

This mod simply reduces the corruption spread to make it harder to reach the borders.

The TLDR is that this mod will be not needed anymore unless someone wants specifically to have corruption spread less and not instantly cover the entire province.

CA's implementation is nothing like this though. The photos used in the blog to show it aren't all that different from each other as well. It wasn't a good example.

Seems like this will be finally adressed in 4.2...Glad we have you here Chief, to deliver when CA won't. Who knows maybe one day they gonna do something about AA implementation and grass rendering too :)
