Asian Small-Clawed Otter Habitat!
To celebrate Pride Month again this year, I've created a rainbow underwater experience for the zoo guests! Guests can follow the yellow brick road, to arrive in a light up rainbow underwater tunnel and watch the otters swim above them!
To keep with the rainbow theme and tie it into Planet Zoo's conservation themes, I've given the otters colourful coral in a small section, to show the decrease in healthy vibrant coral.

I've also created a rainbow Animal Talk and a Beach Festival! The Multi Layered Animal Talk area is decorated to look like a seaside pier and the seating painted in rainbow colours to celebrate Pride!
The Asain Small-Clawed Otters habitat is a sunny rocky beach to reflect the underwater coral reef. And the otters can enjoy the shade of the rainbow festival fabric covers and play with the bubbles enrichment dotted around the beach!


Pride month is about acceptance, equality, celebrating the work of LGBTQIA+ people, education in LGBTQIA+ history and raising awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community. So I've also created a Pride Flag flower garden with over 10 different Pride Flags, to show that everyone is welcome and included!
