Soft-Mediumcore Mod

Description
This mod makes Classic & Journey players start with a consumable item that permanently activates a "Soft-Mediumcore" mode for your player upon use.
You can check whether or not the mode is enabled for your player with the "/softcore" command.

In this mode, you will drop all of your coins and items in your inventory on death, regardless of world difficulty. You will NOT drop anything in your hotbar, equipment slots, or ammo slots.
A Copper Shortsword, Copper Pickaxe, and Copper Axe will still spawn in your inventory, just to be safe (similarly to Mediumcore).
Have fun not getting softlocked because you died underground in Hardmode!

If you accidentally activate the mode or change your mind, you can cheat in an item that reverts you back to normal.

The point of Mediumcore is that you lose your best stuff when you die. If you enjoy playing in this mode, then fine, but it is NOT superior to the original mediumcore.

@Lalo Salamanca That's a cool idea.

Similar to Starbound's. Very nice.

also, it would be an interesting form of progression if there was a consumable after the defeating the WoF that allowed you to have another 10 inventory sloots that let you keep items after dying

can you put an option that stop the mod from giving you the copper tools? its anoying to unequip them over and over again

Could there be an option to have it drop all equipped items and items on hotbar but leave rest of the inventory intact? this would be perfect for our multiplayer group to keep it punishing since you'd drop the most important items but lessen the hassle of reorganising entire inventories.

could there also maybe be a mode where you just drop stackable items? Seems a bit specific but I think most hard to replace things that aren't just resources like weapons, tools, armor, accessories, etc can't be stacked and removes that extra inventory management needed with it being hotbar only. Maybe im wrong but thought it could be neat
