Big thanks to Hijong Park for lending me his advanced flight model script for this. A vietnam era huey and huey gunship meant to be more realistic.
Oh also copilots can also call in air support so they actually have a role now.

don't know if it's the flight model script, or the implementation of it, or the recent update, but when the helicopter has a roll angle of about 90 degrees, trying to pitch up or down makes it yaw instead, and making it yaw still makes it yaw. it makes it nearly impossible to fly tight, fast turns in this thing, and is generally just incredibly annoying to handle

I don't think the air support types are working unless there is something I'm doing wrong, but I hear it get called in but nothing happens?

The helicopter is almost impossible to turn. All it wants to do is fly straight. When I force it to turn, it loses all of it's altitude
