In the modern world, money is an essential part of life, but it can be complicated. Help people, corporations, and everyone in between navigate their finances by developing financial software! The best part? Developing financial software is a sure way to make your own pockets deeper. If you find yourself not profiting quite enough, you can always use the power of your financial software to "find" some money somewhere. Is it ethical? Maybe not. Is it legal? Well, that depends if you get caught!

Currently, this mod adds 4 brand new software types. This is a brand new mod, so please leave suggestions or problems in the comments or discussions below!


  • Trading Tool - Make hedge funds angry by developing one of these!

  • Accounting Software - The most boring software for the most boring job.

  • Tax Filing Tool - If people want their tax return, they'll have to pay you first!

  • Personal Finance Software - Help manage people's money, and take some for yourself!



This mod is compatible with Expanse, and all other mods in the Expanse collection.

You may not copy files or code from this mod and publish it as your own. Any attempts to do this will be reported in accordance with the Steam Community Guidelines and the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

i just tested it it works just fine form what i see, and if u want to use them you will have to start in the 1990s to get them, it also creates ai company's that made some before u loading into the game as well

Is this working with the latest update? If so, when do these softwares become available to develop? I'm in the eighties and they haven't appeared for me yet.

@Red when you start a new game mods are listed on the right pick what ones you want you can't add mods once you start playing, mods that add furniture,walls,floors ect, are auto loaded when you start up Software Inc.

how do u use mods? u just subscribe? they auto load in game? this works with beta 1.4 latest?

Idea: Make a mod that you could get ARRESTED! By laundering money out of your company, also, maybe add a thing in marketing where we can tell someone a different thing so when they buy it, they realize it's crap and not what they paid for, suing you for the PROFITS you made off of the product (profits from 2 to 4 months after the software was created, game, operating system, etc.)
