Description
Note: This mod is CE ONLY, as the bulk of functions are designed and coded for CE.

Vehicle framework content in progress. I'm still learning how to make custom code for it.

1.5 compatible but minimal testing was done. Please report any issues that slipped under my eyes

This mod introduces two brand-new types of weapons to rimworld: enemy-penetrating railguns, and missile launchers capable of switching between direct and indirect fire mode.
If PLA steel torrent is installed, there'll be vehicles using railguns avaliable for fellow colonists!

Disclaimer: Well....glitterworld is probably a misnomer here, lore wise saying they are in fact some late spacer weapon used by an almost glitterworld civilization in and after a civil war.













And there’re some more that lies outside railgun and missile category!

  • Customized unique quests involving exploring an abandoned facility, fighting auto defense and pirates to uncover the secret of accelerator rail manufacture!
  • More LGIS missile types! From toxic missiles to originium contamination warheads! (if an Arknight mod with working oripathy shows up)
  • Proper support and implementation for dual mode but not indirect weapons.
  • Revia support. Done, but not on my side nor revia's side.
  • Hidden cheat for NPC to fire their LGIS at 90 tiles instead of 60.
  • Never ending balancing tweaks!

FAQ:
Q: CE only?
A: Unfortunately, yes. This mod is planned with CE in mind but not vanilla. Much of its functions are only sound in CE environment, and adapting to vanilla will require a complete rewrite of codes and re-plan of features.
I've pull off a complete rewrite and code adaptions, it's now vanilla compat

Q: How do I acquire accelerator rails before I can make my own?
A: Combat supplier, exotic merchant and shaman merchants sell them. They’re also given out in quest rewards.

Q: Where will the weapons show up, excluding player crafted?
A: These weapons will be sold by traders, in quest rewards, and be used by NPC pawns that uses spacer weapons.

Q: Mines are exploding even when enemies are not stepping on it!
A: They are proximity mines, detonates when enemies enter explosion radius. They will also be rarely triggered accidentally by colonists and animals like vanilla mines, but proximity detonation make detonation attempts will be more frequent. The mines will also has a 80% chance to self detonate after half a year to two years. These mines are meant to resemble real world mines in terms of danger, to raise concerns of mine field threats to civilians.......or just to deterrent players from abusing it covering every inch of their land with mines.

Q: My pawn can’t switch weapon mode!
A: Is she a revia? It’s currently in a state of soft incompatibility, everything else except mode switching should work fine. Compatibility is planned.
Revia is working now. Please tell me if you're having problem switching modes.

Q: Railgun shots bouncing upwards after hitting a wall!
A: I’m aware of that bug. It’s a CE thing and out of my reach.

Q: There’re some lores behind the weapons, will you expand on it?
A: Yes, a faction mod is in progress.

Q: CE compat?
A: NoYes

a portable mortar based of the launchers would be cool. like a high accuracy/low fire speed infantry mortar

Persona ECS Blade is bugged. When someone equip it, and you reload the save, it becomes biocoded and somehow the wielder can no longer use it.

经过排查在使用磁轨武器这个mod时会导致袭击刷不出来,从而使整个游戏降速。TPS从900降到100。测试环境:ce+磁轨武器,以及Smart Speed和Dubs Performance Analyzer。8月3日更新前没有这个毛病。

装备磁轨武器的小人狩猎的时候,无法命中已经倒地的猎物,会一直射击到子弹打完。CE环境
