The VAZ 2101 has been widely used as a police car in the Soviet Union and across the Soviet bloc. Its role has been particularly relevant in allowing a massive growth in the motorization of the police forces in the Soviet bloc since the 1970s. I just realised that the vanilla Vz2101 also has missing engine sounds. Hoping that this issue may be fixed in a future patch, I changed the script to the Vz2105 sound, it should work fine now.
