Boom's Pantheon Rebalance
Pantheons are an important part of civ. They can dictate game plans, give civs huge boosts in power and tempo, and make civs with early faith much stronger. Unfortunately, many pantheons are effectively unusable, or are very weak compared to others. Religious Settlements and adjacency pantheons are very good, while many others are lackluster.
In this mod, I have buffed some of the weaker pantheons to attempt to give them more game defining/tempo potential as well.

Changelist
  • Reverted Earth Goddess to +2 faith
  • Ladies of the Reeds and Marshes now applies to all floodplains, but has been reduced to +1 prod
  • Goddess of Festivals now gives +1 prod on flat plantations in addition to +1 culture
  • Religious Idols now gives +3 faith from +2 and grants +3 gold as well
  • Fire Goddess now gives +4 faith from +2
  • River Goddess now grants only 1 amenity but Holy Sites next to rivers gain standard adjacency
  • God of Healing replaced with God of Labor, which gives a free Builder when picked and grants +30% production to builders
  • Initiation Rites replaced with God of Boundaries, which grants 15% border expansion and 4 free tiles when settling a city
  • Fertility Rites no longer grants a builder, but grants +1 Food on farmable resources
  • City Patron Goddess increased to 50% from 25%
  • Stone Circles now gives +1 Production and Faith on quarries from +2 Faith
  • God of War no longer requires nearby Holy Site and faith on kill increased to 100% of strength from 50%

Compatiility
Should be compatible with other mods that do not change pantheons.

Is there one that changes the "god of craftsmen" bonus? that one is pretty weak compared to these, now. In fact, I'm gonna see if I can do it myself. I've messed with civ mods before, I might be able to do it

Hi Boom. I can see that others have already noticed, but I'd like to do a +1:

the text modifications don't work which makes it hard in-game to choose pantheons

would appreciate if you could maybe look into it

Goddess of Festivals doesn't seem to give+1 prod to flat tile in text, not sure if it still give when picked

Can you change Goddess of Festivals to +1 food +1 culture? I feel like a festival implies a lot of food not so much production.

i appreciate that but wouldnt worry about it. i made a version of pantheons mod (private - friends only) that combines what me and my friends like best about this and pokehiels pantheons and this mod. in that i reworked a pantheon to apply +1 food to all farming resources as well as +1 food to city centers

Yeah I am aware that Goddess of Festivals is a little strong right now especially when you realize that spices exist. I am planning to update this mod soon and I will nerf it to +1 prod on flat tiles.
