Description
In response to the escalation in the Sawyer Isles region the US Navy dispatched a large portion of the 8th to partol the waters in and around the Isles, and assist the Newquay Naval Forces in joint operations.

Comprised of the USS Concord's (CV-51) carrier strike group, the USS Dahlgren's (HAL-55) amphibious assault group, Destroyer Squadron 21 (DESRON 21) lead by the destroyer leader USS Saratoga (DLGN-28), and Submarine Squadron 6 (SUBRON 6) lead by USS Albacore (SSN-704).
