Drone/GPS Directed Mobile Artillery with 7km ballistics computer

Descrizione
Destroy your enemies from afar with this mobile artillery. Work with a drone to attack targets beyond visual range and behind terrain, or use on-board laser rangefinding system for acquiring targets up to 4km, or bombard a GPS coordinate up to 7km away.

Operational Procedure:
-Climb up the hull using either handles on the turret or ladders at the back
-Enter the front left hatch to control vehicle

Main Gun Controls:
-Rotate gun using arrow keys and press Spacebar to fire manually
-or, press Hotkey 3 to compute 1 shot at the reticule using the ballistics computer
-or, Enter Target XYZ Coordinates then press Hotkey 1 to compute one shot using ballistics computer, multiple shots can be queued
-After every 7 shots, the turret resets to reload (first salvo is 6 shots because gun is empty at the start)
-the ballistics computer can queue up to 30 shots

Drone Directed Attack Procedure:
-Climb into the seat on the right
-Press 1 to activate the drone
-Use WASD and arrow keys to control drone like a helicopter
-Press and hold Hotkey 2 and use mouse to steer the camera
-Press Spacebar to compute one shot at the reticule location, multiple shots can be queued
-Use throttle stick on the lower left of the monitor to change camera zoom

Notes:
-Optimal Range is 4-6 km, where hitting a tank sized target requires an average of 2 shots
-at 2-3 km, it may take as many as 4 shots to hit a tank sized target due to shallowness of the striking angle and the gun's inaccuracy
-above 6.5km the gun is also less accurate

Credits:
-Sergo585 for giving me some test data on the cannons

Updates:
1.1
- Drone Charge Mode Toggle Button, inside the rear hull door, next to electric cable anchor
- Parking Brakes Key Switch, at the driver seat, default is brakes off.

the drone is not attached to the tank because it has to be a separate vehicle to trigger the enemies to load in. I do have a drone with autopilot, but it's not compatible with the artillery vehicle.

also not an actual request but it would be cool to have the drone AUTOPILOT

can you make the drone attach to the tank?

could you make another monitor for the map cause it blocks most of the view and is really annoying?

haven't had that happen yet, but thanks for the warning.

Hi, Back when this was first uploaded, not sure if an update changed it, if the drone and artillery is one spawn, it run into problems when operating beyond 3.5 km from the player. depending on whether the artillery or the drone is the main body of the vehicle, either the enemies won't spawn in, or some weird collision issues will happen to the artillery occasionally.

Hey, I've seen your other creations and really enjoy them, but i had 2 gripes about this one, 1. it's pretty annoying to get into. 2. spawning the drone separately is a pain due to the fact you have to move the actual artillery out of the way before spawning it. so I added a ladder on each side and put the drone with the artillery into 1 creation, I can take it down if you want, thanks.

Steam is xml edited to be in the fluid tank from the start, but it's pretty easy to hook it up to an external boiler via fluid connectors and disconnect it, as steam is never used up in this sort of setup. I have uploaded an example of the engine here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2614317463

Also note that connecting both ends of the turbine to your wheels/props etc gives you slightly more torque,

right, but powered by what? wheres the steam coming from. I've built my share of electric flywheel inf. energy generators, but I'm intrigued by this new voodoo

@Poto It's a pair of steam turbines that is powered by an electric pump, that is also hooked up to generators to power the pump in a loop that generates infinite electricity. I learned it from the steam user Illy.
