Description


Introduction
"A marvel of technology!"

A weak boy at a glance, Meister is a master technician from the east. He was once a beloved retainer of the Emperor, but mysterious crews took everything from him. From the arcane relic of his country, his companions, to his majesty, his dearest friend. Instead of indulging in his blood-stained past, he stepped into the abyss to avenge the fallen ones, with only vendetta on his mind.

Meister destroys whatever stops him from his vengeance, using the mechanical beast made with his masterful craftsmanship. Moreover, he can support companions by spraying gunpowder to expose enemies to critical strikes or utilize his prosthetic arm to stun them. Medicine is also not a field he lacks; his skill in acupuncture can revitalize even a hero on the verge of their demise.

What we are sure about, is that he and his machine will not stop until he punishes the evil writhing on this land.

Vengeful (Virtue) - 25% Chance

He realizes that he should carry on to avenge those who have fallen. His damage and deathblow resist increases, and he focuses on survival.

Resentful (Affliction) - 75% Chance

However, he also may let his avenge consume him. His damage increases, but he will lash out at his teammates for behaving according to their survival or the team's goal, instead of his purpose.

  • Meister's name is 'Yi-Young', and his code ID is 'meister'
  • His CRIT effect is +20% DMG vs Marked, and +5 ACC vs Marked.
  • His district is Athenaeum.

  • This mod does not include an immediate recruit event. Subscribe to this mod for an immediate town event.

Known Bugs/Issues
1. When Preheat is used in a battle phase(Farmstead), Meister will still be in Preheat mode if you turn the game off in the following rest phase. When this bug happens, if you use Preheat in the next battle phase, he will return to GearFirst state (non-preheat mode).

- Solution: Can't be fixed. Best not to turn the game off in the rest phase when you have a Meister in your Farmstead party.

2. Very rarely, the sound loop effect on Preheat can cause a crash to the desktop.

i Honestly dont line and understand why you'd have a penalty for a heal. That makes the character a bad healer. Also, feels incomplete since half the skills dont have interaction with preheat. Why?

The heal could have the drawback for example if you didnt have preheat on, or you could add a small regen when preheated.

All the skills should focus around the preheat mechanic, and have something extra or modification to a skill when preheated.

@KnightlyLad I remember getting a feedback that the mod contributes a lot to mod limit, for no apparent reason. It is likely to be a mod limit problem.

Been trying to run this mod but every time I load it, game crashes. Any idea what might be causing it?

Yeah that crashing bug really makes me want to turn away from this class mod. I guess I can avoid it by not using preheat mode, but it seems to play a major part in his mechanics. Hopes this bug will be taken cared of soon.

Just wanted for you guys to know that this class has pretty cool synergy with mark teams but this class shines best when paired with Moon/Void Slime's Commandant.

With this and him, you got yourself the best Anti-Army party with mark synergy.

Space's Campaign Thoughts...

I like the idea of the class, cool aesthetic, the abilities are fine if not super engaging. I do like that he has some drawbacks on his skills, like the ehaling penalty and using the overdrive skill. I think it helps balance him some, he has some pretty HIGH dmg so far from my game. I have some strong trinkets on him so it could be that but I'm notcing frequently he'll hit MULTIPLE ppl for quite a bit and I go wow. The art is nice if not so much my style (Im sorry I simp for the closer to dd original art styles) Overall, decent class, I have fun with it 3/5 *Balanced - to slightly OP*
