ANOTHER MAJOR UPDATE. CHECK THE DISCORD FOR PATCH NOTES.

Created by gruntmaster1, this amazing mod has been brought back to life in the current version of From The Depths. Connect this to a laser system, set the size and color, and watch it block all the lasers, crams, Advanced cannons, Missiles, and shells you could ever hope to see
...Until it runs out of energy, of course.
EMP does nothing to the shield. Fire also does not affect the shield.
This will be fixed, I promise. When, I can't say for sure. Certainly before I release the custom campaign I'm making, which is pretty far in it's development.

The shield is located in a tab called "Advanced Shields". Connect it to a working laser system, and watch your craft be completely protected against all shells and missiles!
(If a ton of shells hit the shield at once, it may be overloaded and let a shell through. This is very rare, but worth noting)

If you reach this part, I hate to shill my discord but it's seriously the only reliable way I can communicate with you guys. I want this to be a passion project that everyone loves. If something's wrong or you have a suggestion, please come stop by. It would mean a lot :)

ok, i did it. i think you need to delete the entire mod folder, remake the mod folder, and then install the beta version of the mod. otherwise it makes errors

I having an interesting issue when I have the mod downloaded and gives me this error message "ERROR: The Dome Shield mod folder was not located. Please do not manually change the name of the folder when you download it. (IF you are sure didn't change the install name at all, please send me proof I will fix this." and I did not change anything about the file when I installed it.

Hey, sorry for not having any updates in a long time. The change to Unity6 has made the old models for the shield incompatible, and it's been a pain trying to get those to work. Along with this, I have become rather busy with other development stuff, and I have been doing a complete re-write of the entire mod. I do not know when this will be functional again; it could be weeks or months. One day, though, it will be functional. Mark my words.

Trying the mod, it seems broken. The UI is completely broken (won`t show up) and the blocks in the construction menu all use the default Laser system descriptions except for the 3x3 and 1x1 laser generators. Is there any possibility of an update or patch to fix this?

dunno why but the shield just like, doesn't work for me, as in no UI, Error messages, the likes which is a real bummer because this mod is something i've always wanted for so long
