A collection of road assets originally released as part of the Network Extensions 2 mod. Since most of the functionality of Network Extensions 2 was outdated and has been replaced by other mods, the only thing lost was the road collection. Below you will find that road collection recreated by hand as separate road assets. The most excellent mod RON has been configured to automatically replace the Network Extensions 2 roads upon load of map or save.

Below you will find the master collection of road assets separated by the road category as well as an option for the full list collection for a one-button download of all assets included in this collection.

While these roads visually represent the roads included in Network Extensions 2, each road has been created using vanilla assets as the base. While the source was referenced for the creation of the roads, many of the meshes and texture files have been modified to be optimised for Loading Screen Mod.

Note: The optimisation process is not 100% complete, and is still a work in progress.

These roads are not a direct extract from the Network Extensions 2 mod, but used vanilla templates and modified meshes and textures from the source of Network Extensions 2. Wherever possible, the original look and feel of the roads was maintained with some improvements. Some roads included custom props that are not available in the base game or any of it's expansions and have therefor been replaced by vanilla props.
