Description
This mod greatly reduces the resources found on the map when "sparse resources" is selected prior to game creation by approximately a factor of 3.


In-game number of resources based off of a small Pangaea map.


Luxury - Old 60 to 80, New 20 to 35

Strategic - Old 60 to 80, New 20 to 35

Bonus - Old 200 to 260, New mid 80s

It should reduce the resources for any map size. I have not tested it though, so I do not know if it will reduce them enough. You can always open up the .lua file and change the number from -20 to an even smaller number (aka -40, etc.). Check the comment at the top of the lua mod file for details.

does this work with custom map script mods? like got lakes, fantastical, gaia, etc? And mods that add resources to the pool, like sukitracts oceans and civitas resources? I assumed so but still getting a lot of resources.

You're welcome! I agree, the base game hardly reduced the number of resources.
