P42 'Hero' Class Coastal Patrol Craft

The P42-Class Coastal Patrol Craft, more commonly referred to as the 'Hero'-class, due to the name of the first ship in class, is a fictional Royal Navy Patrol Vessel, which was built to complement the Archer-Class, Sabre-Class, and River-Class Patrol Vessels for use in fisheries protection and constabulary duties in the littorals, and the territorial waters and exclusive economic zones of Great Britain's overseas territories in the Caribbean.

The P42-Class was designed and built as a cheaper alternative to the larger River-Class Patrol Vessels in materials, costs, and manpower, requiring only a crew of 12 to fully man the vessel operating in shifts where 4 are asleep at any time and hot bunking is common.

Due to the limited size of the vessel and limited design range, the class are designed to operate regularly out of there assigned ports as they are constrained by food storage and fuel. The Class is specifically well suited constabulary and rescue operations with a top speed of 30.8 knots, and an economical cruisng speed of 16.5 knots.

----- HOW TO START -----
1. Go down to the Machinery Control Room (MCR) and turn on the breakers from Aft to Forward on the Green Panel, except for the the External Power Hookup.
2. Return to the Bridge and turn on the Engine Switch, do not switch it off unless you want to turn the engine off.
3. Push the clutch lever forward and the boat will begin to move forward at it's cruise speed.
4. To reach maximum speed press and hold W, and it will increase to it's maximum speed. If you want to stay at maximum speed and not hold W then use Trim and set it to above 0.1.
5. To Reverse hold S and it will automatically switch into reverse gear.

----- FLYBRIDGE CONTROL -----
Turn the key behind the Helm to switch to Flybridge Control.

Optional: Go to the fly-bridge first and then match the inputs of the Clutch, Rudder Trim, and Throttle Trim, then turn the key, this will ensure that no sudden changes occur.
