Realistic Companies

Beskrivning
Realistic Companies (Working well with Beta 1.6)

This little mod replaces the vanilla random generated company names with real company names. It contains around 100 real company names.

Please note:
-It is randomly generated by the game which software will be released by which company. Possibly you will see Electronic Arts as an Anti Virus Software Developer. I do not know how to link the realistic software types to the companies. Probably I will find out in the future...
-You will not see all these companies when starting a game. The Game always starts with the same amount of companies. It is also randomly selected by the Game itself which companies will show up when starting a game. New companies which will start up during game will also be randomly selected from the realistic companies list.
-You will have to start a new game to activate the mod
-If you miss your favored company just leave a comment. I will take it up asap.
-If you like this Mod consider checking my other Mod for Realistic Contract Companies:

Just so you know, mentioning in the title or your game page that it still works is a good idea. Also, just 'fake' updating it, so the updated date is more recent is another way to tell people the mod still works.

It would be nice when you find the time for adding this :)

No, at the time I made this mod there were no company logos implemented in the game yet. ATM I have no time to check if it is possible. Probably I will try in the near future as it would be cool to have real logos linked with their real companies :104:

Have you tried giving the company's real logos too? I've found many logos online that work, but I don't know how to mod them by giving them their IRL logos.

Went looking straight for a real company mod as soon as I bought the game, anyone know if still compatible

Just checked the compatibility with Beta 1.5.5. Everything works fine.

How about some more older companies, Sinclair who made the spectrum computer, Ocean (one of the biggest game developers of the 80s) Sensible Software (big on the Amiga and Atari) For modern ASUS Good work btw.. hope you find a way to have them appear at the correct points in history selling the correct software/hardware

Ok, thanks for that additional info. Could be conflicting together.
