Thunderers (Grudge Rakers)

Description
Adds thunderers (grudge rakers) to provide dwarfs with a powerful low range option. Only the gun changed to keep it as vanilla as possible. Normal thunderers are still useful because they have much more range. Upkeep and recruitment cost stays the same.

Available at the Gunsmith's Forge.

Fully affected by all skills and technologies focused around thunderers.

Check out this mod for some additional ranged options for the empire.

Should be compatible with most other mods.

Credits
Sythropo for his awesome grudge raker model. You can find his mod here.

Still working with the new patch, anyone know?

Makes sense, I hadn't thought of an animation issue to be honest. Probably the only simple change then would be increasing damage or missiles per shot. Cheers

I believe I already tested something similar in the past and there were problems with firing animations. But I'll look into it, sounds like a good idea.

Quite enjoy the mod, they fill a missing niche in Dwarf armies. One question though, is there any way to modify them to fire 2 shots per volley? Im sure that's probably unbalanced but would be fun, especially since they have double barrel grudge rakers.

Or did you mean the shots should get bonus vs infantry?

Thanks for pointing that out, I did some additonal testing and it turns out that it's good against single entities as well. That means the bullet point "Anti Infantry" wouldn't fit here. I adjusted it in the mod description so it's not misleading.

should be anti infantry, no?
