Hardcore Emperor - Disable Tech Aptitudes

Description
This is a mod that increases the difficulty of Empire Mode by removing the tech aptitude bonuses your empire normally provides when landing on new planets. No more landing on the planet with most of the research trees unlocked for your high level races / secret techs.

Full description:

Empire Mode is great and some players like the challenge of the planetary modifiers and strategically picking what units / ops / items to bring with them, but dislike certain always-on mechanics that are overpowered and make the game trivial in the hands of a skilled player.

Among these is the huge amount of free techs you get via "tech aptitudes" the higher your empires level up. This mod stops the game from giving you the free techs when landing on a new planet. The Tech Aptitudes will still unlock normally between planets as you progress (and you can disable this mod for future planets), but you won't get the benefits on-planet while this mod is enabled.

I actually enjoy the comprehensive coverage of Empire led teams and the further enrichment of sub hero characteristic skills. The Empire level I mentioned is that the initial level of a hero is one, and I hope that the Empire Leader skill will not lock in the Empire level (in fact, only when the Hero Empire level is increased, the Empire Leader class level will be increased), and vice heroes can also enjoy it. The system has many default feature heroes, and once recruited, they will lose the feature skills they used as sub heroes. I hope they can shine as a leader in the empire. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the author for providing the playable lifespan of this MOD rich game. Then, I would like to propose an opinion to prohibit heroes from increasing their Empire level after the war, so as to further return the difficulty to the level of encounter warfare

hey, thanks! Unfortunately I'm not aware of an easy way to make mods user configurable like that and would need to release a new mod. The mod can be edited to do what you ask for sure, but I'm not sure how technical you are.

Hi, great idea and great mod, good work! One questions though. I would like to receive three or four free starting techs. Is it possible to set mod in way that it would remove tech aptitudes if there were more than four? Can I edit it somehow?
