Description
Yak-40 (NATO codification: Codling) is a turbojet passenger aircraft for local airlines, developed in the USSR in the 1960s.

When designing the aircraft, the designers were faced with the task of finding a compromise between reliability, ensuring high flight safety, unpretentiousness to the airfield and modern comfort for passengers. The Yak-40 does not need mobile airdrome ladders; a folding landing ladder is provided in the tail section.

Features:

Cruising speed 330 km/h (Throttle 25%), maximum range 150 km.
Maximum speed 560 km/h.

Artificial horizon - analogue of Garmin.

Flight Director - Automatic alignment of horizontal and vertical position.

Autopilot with dual modes GPS/HDG

--GPS - In keypad enter, coordinates X and Y.
--HDG - In keypad enter, direction in degrees 0...360.

Flow Meter:

Flow - current fuel consumption in one second.
Time - time in minutes after how many minutes the fuel will run out.
Dist - distance (km) for which there is enough fuel, taking into
flow and speed (m/s).

Automatically goes into refueling mode.

Flow - current fuel arrival per second.
Time - time until full refueling.

Stormlink compatible.
