Description
PearlLanders
A newly discovered human sub-race in Kenshi with a secret to keep.

Game starts
*start off as a wanderer going into the research facility, United Scientists. If you want to play as the new race, select sub-race PearlLander from the character creation screen.
*start as a PoW in Rebirth in high debt
*start as a lone survivor in Okran's Shield
*start as a single refugee trying to survive in a town that recently suffered a destructive raid
*start as a large group of starving refugees at various locations
*start as a small group of escapees from the United Scientists research facility
*a few random starts

United Scientists
*minor faction of scientists located in the Shem desert
*they keep slaves for scientific experiments and research
*check out their library (merchant in the hospital) for the latest research

Other things this mod does
*Adds a new armor in the belt slot called Mysterious Pearl that only PearlLanders can use. (I could not get the pearl to appear for playable characters so many of the PearlLanders have the blue print on them, instead. After a player character crafts the mysterious pearl on the clothing bench, then it can be worn by PearlLander characters. It looks like a miniature version of the Leviathan pearl.)
*a few recruitable PearlLanders scattered throughout Kenshi: Admag, Bad Teeth, Bark, Blister Hill, Brink, Catun, Clownsteady, Drifter's Last, Heft, Heng, Shark, Sho-Battai, Squin, Stack, Stoat, Waystations, World's End
*can recruit United Scientists' prisoners
*can recruit PearlLander refugees in the raided town
*might see a strange Skeleton with a few humans in tow wandering the Deadlands, Grey Desert, or Shem

@Juroguy well, they are the only ones that can use those pearls. There are also some mad scientists who would love to get their hands on them. The rest is up to your imagination.

@Athoen try ctrl+shift+F11, if that doesn't work then save and load your game, followed by ctrl+shift+F11

Thanks for sharing this mod, having fun with it right now. It seems pearllanders do not move to get food from storage. I am the only one having this ?

@pgames-food, I think you should be able to add the PearlLanders if you import your existing game.
