Report a translation problem
Almost did one campaign with the new settings before that though: It was with Rakarth so didn't get any mage heroes until pretty late. I think it was pretty resonable droprate wise. Definately didn't get enough items that I could equip all but my most important characters.
Did get a lot of followers though so thats odd. Maybe just lucky dice rolls.
You would need to collect items with magic item drop chance or have 2 magic heroes with 3 points in their scouting skill to hit 70%.
The idea is, that if you want to have more items you invest in it and get rewarded. It feels bad to be capped at 30% if you really want item drops in one of your armies.
If the ai gets more items that will give you more items to steal. I don't remember the chance to steal after battle but its not touched by me and depends on difficulty. They also use their heroes pretty badly so an item won't help them much if they run Jon Snow style into your army before they get backup.
I wonder if the ai should get a slightly higher base buff.
