These interchanges are intended as replacements for your overwhelmed traffic circles. They are all shrunken versions of authentic interchanges, they all fit into a circle of diameter 16u, and they all perform much better than a traffic circle of the same diameter.

I have written a rambling guide to accompany this collection. You don't need to read the guide to use these tiny interchanges. Just read below to pick the one that best suits your needs, and then read the instructions in the asset description.

There are seven tiny interchanges in this collection, but I would only recommend three of them. The rest are included out of obsessive completeness, and because they are discussed in the accompanying guide. The chart below, which sorts the interchanges by performance, should make my choices clear. For example, I don't recommend the Enhanced Double Trumpet despite it's fairy high performance (and despite it being my favorite) because it is outperformed by the Tiny Weaving-Free Cloverleaf, which is also easier to set up.

• The Tiny Cloverleaf: This is a version of an interchange pictured in a 2015 Reddit post “Much much better than roundabouts. These should be much more popular.” by Steam user Aquilifer. It does have some weaving—as you would expect from a Cloverleaf—which impacts its performance. But it's easy to build, fairly easy to set up, and handles a lot more traffic than a traffic circle. It's a good choice for an intersection that doesn't need to handle an absurd amount of traffic. It also has the advantage of using only vanilla road assets, and it's the only interchange in this collection that allows U-turns.
  
  
• The Tiny Weaving-Free Cloverleaf: This is a sophisticated interchange, despite its size. As the name suggests, there's no weaving or merging inside the interchange. Furthermore, if you connect it to 6-lane roads, there will be no merging to enter or exit the interchange. The Weaving-Free Cloverleaf has the best performance in this collection and it is recommended for high traffic. Building and setting it up isn't too hard, and Network Extensions 2 has a million subscribers, so I don't consider its road assets to be unusual.
  
  
• The Tiny 45° Cloverstack: This is another small but sophisticated interchange with no weaving or merging. There's also no merging when entering or leaving the interchange, as long as it's connected to 6-lane roads. In my tests, it performed almost as well as the Tiny Weaving-Free Cloverleaf. What makes this interchange stand out is that it is designed for a 45° junction. If that's what you have, then this will keep the traffic flowing. It isn't too hard to build and set up. As for road assets, it not only uses roads from Network Extensions 2, but it also requires a two lane road with traffic reversed.
