In service to the Shadow King,

This mod greatly enhances the hybrid nature of the Shadow Walkers to be good melee combatants as well as good archers. They are armed quite nicely in vanilla to do melee combat; however, their numbers are so thin that they don't stack up against any significant enemy melee forces.

This mod is intended to make the Shadow Walkers a true hybrid melee/ranged unit that matches descriptions and themes in the stories while not rocking the balance much.

This is accomplished in the following ways from greatest to least.

Ammo reduced from 20 arrows to 12 arrows per entity (model)

The number of entities per unit has been increased by 4:3 or from 60 to 80 on ultra setting so that the Shadow Walker matches the Shadow Warrior's existing unit size, resiliency, etc.

The charge bonus was increased from 12 to 20.

The health was increased from 74 to 76.

Thus the unit has more strikes, more health and less ammo. With ammo at a premium you want to choose your targets well. Waste not want not. The increased resilience and damage out put should make up the difference.

Very nice! Ive often thought about working on the hybrid style for these guys and figured that a short range shot with limited ammo and deadly melee would be cool, but this fills the gap very nicely.

Thanks for the mod by the way. I appreciate it. Though I do make some edits of my own as I prefer to basically just make them match the warriors without the ammo nerf. I don't know how to make my own mods but I do now how to edit them

I'm not sure why the shadow walker wasn't given the same unit count as shadow warriors. I feel like it means they aren't even an upgrade over the warriors. Their only slightly better melee stats do them almost no good once they are actually in melee, and at range, even with the poison, their slightly better ranged damage doesn't even let them out compete the warriors.

I'm happy with just a straight up unit count buff to make them match the warrior version.
