Sengoku Line Infantry

Description
What if, there were Fall of the Samurai units in Shogun 2?

I mean, everyone already knows the answer to that was found in the Otomo and Tokugawa Modern Units mod by copperzinc.

By what if... existing units from Fall of the Samurai were converted into Shogun 2's asthetic?

Thus, I now present to you, the Sengoku Line Infantry mod; with 4 "new" units; three of whom have a completely new unit images based off FotS images but colored in the vanilla Shogun 2 style!

Contains the following units:
Ashigaru Line Infantry
Line Infantry are the bulk of an army, doing a good deal of the killing and most of the dying.

Armed with rifles, the Ashigaru Line Infantry are capable of firing by rank, laying down suppression fire, and having the first rank kneel and fire with the second rank.

Recruitable after researching Teppo Mastery. The Otomo, Oda, Ikko Ikki, and Hattori clans have a clan-unique version; the Otomo have a better ranged unit they can recruit after the Attack by Fire tech, the Oda has an overall stronger unit, the Ikko Ikki have more men with weaker stats, and the Hattori have Kisho Training.

Copied from the FotS Line Infantry, but without their melee bonus against cavalry and has +5 ammo.

Samurai Line Infantry
The line of battle can be held by good soldiers, armed with muskets and inspired to fight for their daimyo.

The Samurai Line Infantry can do all that their Ashigaru brothers can; except the Samurai Line Infantry can also use Rapid Volley.

Recruitable from any Lv3 Gunsmith and up. The Hattori and Otomo clans have a clan-unique version; with the Hattori having Kisho Training, and the Otomo having stronger ranged Line Infantry that's also recruitable from a Lv3 Fortress and up. The Ikko Ikki cannot recruit this unit.

Copied off the base Matchlock Samurai. Has +2 Melee Defence, +4 Morale, +4 Charge Bonus, +30 reloading skill, and +5 ammo compared to Matchlock Samurai. Does not have any melee bonus against cavalry.

Shinobi Sharpshooters
A few bullets, in the right targets, can turn the course of a battle.

Hidden in the shadows, these Shinobi cannot serve in melee combat or throw grenades like their Kisho Ninja brothers. However, they instead make up for that by being good shooters with their new rifles capable of laying down Suppression Fire and having Kneel Fire.

Recruitable from any Lv3 Gunsmith and up. The Tokugawa, and Hattori have a stronger unique version; with the Otomo having a better ranged version.

Copied off the FotS Sharpshooters, but with 3 armor instead of 2; as well as Kisho training.

Carbine Cavalry
Carbine Cavalry can deliver accurate and withering rapid fire.

Mounted on warhorses and armed with carbines; the Carbine Cavalry is now available to everyone, instead of just being a Tokugawa gimmick.

Recruitable from any Lv1 Stables and up; requires a Lv3 Gunsmith in the same province as well as access to the Warhorses resource. The Takeda, Otomo, and Tokugawa clans have a stronger unique version; with the Takeda having a stronger melee, the Otomo having stronger ranged, and the Tokugawa having just all-around stronger.

Copied off the FotS Carbine Cavalry mixed with the Tokugawa Mounted Gunners. The Tokugawa Mounted Gunners are effectively obsolete; maybe I'll release a companion mod that somehow makes them useful.

For anyone wondering what the point of regular musket units are now... uuh... idk; maybe you could go download Gun Units Fires with all Rank. by Valentina and turn your musket units into irregulars focused on hit and run.

Maybe Important Notes:
-The Ashigaru and Samurai Line Infantry unit images were made by me, with their poses based off the Levy and Line Infantry. The Carbine Cavalry's samurai was also made by me, his pose based off the Imperial Guard Cavalry in FotS; but his horse is based off the Yari Cavalry horse with parts taken from other cavalry units. The Shinobi Sharpshooters is an edited Kisho Ninja. You may use these images as long as credit is given.
-The Ashigaru, Samurai, and Shinobi units use the Minnie rifle; the Carbine Cavalry are using the Snider Carbine with their officer using a colt revolver because machine pistols don't exist yet.
-The removal of the melee bonus against cavalry is because these units are not using a bayonet.
-I know the Ikko Ikki got the short end of the stick with no Ronin or Monk equivalent to the Samurai Line Infantry, but I'm lazy and literally just thought about that while uploading this.
-UI pictures were made by me in paint.net, a free program that can be found online.
-Mod file will be called Sengoku_line_infantry_eon.pack
-I know no one posts in the bug reports, so just post them in the comments.

@FlyingScoots
Not that I would know of.
They should be compatible in theory though, especially since this mod uses new tables and data to make these units.

Heya!
Just a sanity question, is this compatible with the unofficial patch, to your knowledge?

Neat mod! Would love to be able to just use Shinobi Sharpshooters without the other units, I feel like there's a place in the vanilla campaign for ninja snipers... Could you please please please make a standalone mod?

You know that you can create two more units, one from the Infantry line of the monks and another from the Infantry line of the Portuguese Tercios
