Description
The Bolte Bridge is a twin cantilever road bridge spanning the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour in Docklands, Melbourne. It was completed in 1999 as part of the Citylink toll freeway project, carrying four lanes of traffic either way and providing a direct freeway connection from Tullamarine Airport to the city. The 140m concrete towers on either side of the bridge are simply an aesthetic addition, and serve no structural purpose since they are not connected to the main bridge (supposedly added to distract the public view from the transmission towers behind the bridge).

It's quite close to exact scale, so use Node Controller if you want to fit anything larger than two 3-lane highways betwen the towers without clipping occurring. Once you drag an elevated road through the bridge, use Move It to remove the road's pillars and adjust its slope/elevation.

What's included:

Main bridge span: This is the main section, including the two towers. Use Move It to adjust its position after you place it.

Side bridge span: This is the smaller section; the actual bridge has one of these sections on either side. Place it similarly to the main section using Move It. The red/black bit at the top is slightly angled to one side, so it's best to rotate one by 180° if you're using two of these.

Pillar: This is a pretty basic pillar which matches the style of the main bridge pillars. You'll have to place it alongside a road, then adjust its position with Move It.

Aircraft Warning Lights if you want to add the red aircraft lights at the top of the concrete towers (as seen in real life).

@Zekisarsu thanks for the reply. I have used these side bridges to run alongside the main bridge to carry things like monorail and train tracks. Maybe I can find a mod that disables the flooding warning (I can also just turn them off, but then they complain about that instead). Thank again.

@PraiseTheSun, from memory I used a different asset template for the side bridges as I intended for them to be placed on land (like the real thing). That's probably why you're getting the flooding issue, so not sure if it can be fixed sorry.

Great bridge, one issue I have is the side bridges complain about being flooded, when placed in water with move it. Any way to fix this? Thanks for a great asset.
