This version requires the original, the standalone does not. I released the standalone to help deal with the issue of save bloat.

Is it better to use this mod with the other privateer mod already installed, or to just use your standalone version of this mod?

I wanted to keep his design as in-tact as possible while still making him fresh and useful. The new SFX, town restriction, and gold carry boost are just me being a perfectionist. I notices that in his trait incompatibilities, DapperJack had limited all town traits that didn't pertain to drinking, so I decided to just take it to the next logical step.

@SaintKnoxx Each space between Privateer and his target reduces the damage by 10%, but... Well, this is technically true but somewhat misleading. I had to put up with the limitations of the modding tools.

Your damage goes down by 10% in position 2, 20% in position 3, and 30% in position 4, just like a debuff.

But the position of the ENEMY changes the *base* damage, as in the DMG modifier found on most attack skills.

So technically speaking, if you're as far away from your target as possible, your total damage modifier is -30% of -30%, meaning you're dealing 49% of your base damage. So it's slightly better than the stats would suggest.

how does the damage work on black powder pistol? if i have him in rank 4 will he do same damage to all enemies or just to the first rank and then fall off for later ranks?
