Description
The Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde is a British–French turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner that was operated until 2003. It had a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound, at Mach 2.04 (1,354 mph or 2,180 km/h at cruise altitude), with seating for 92 to 128 passengers. First flown in 1969, Concorde entered service in 1976 and continued flying for the next 27 years. It is one of only two supersonic transports to have been operated commercially; the other is the Soviet-built Tupolev Tu-144, which operated in the late 1970s.

This is my rendition of the BAC Concorde. Featuring a realistic startup procedure, safety systems, and hydraulic systems, I tried to make this as true to the original as possible, but if you have any suggestions, tell me in the comments.

This can be spawned through a custom mission or an edited workbench

Operation Manual
The combustion chambers on this plane are powered through a GPU; make sure to start it before beginning the startup procedure. To get in, jump and grab the second handle on the door with E. Reach up, grab the second handle with Q. Open the door with E and hoist yourself in.

Startup Procedure
1). Turn on the BATT A and BATT B switches on the F/E panel.
2). Turn on the ENG BUS switches, and then turn on the GPU power switch.
3). Turn on the aft and forward fuel switches, and then turn on the two fuel tank switches.
4). Turn on the crossfeed and the tank trim auto switches.
5). Turn on the 4 engine fuel valves.
6). Set the engine control sequence to Start/Ground.
7). Turn on the avionics switch, and turn on at least one of the equipment bay fans. If the equipment bay overheats, the gyro will lose power and you could lose control of the plane.
8). Open the 4 intake switches.
9). Turn on the thrust spoilers.
10). Turn on the four hydraulic system switches. On the overhead panel, set the hydraulic system to yellow and turn on the combustion chamber buttons.
11). Turn on the anti-ice switches. Leaving these switches off will cause the simulated buildup of ice, leading to the affected system failing.
12. Press the nose down button twice to fully lower the nose.
13). Turn on the engine GEN switches.

Takeoff Procedure
Before taking off, make sure to set your specified altitude in the ALT hold and disable the brakes.
1). Turn off GPU power.
2). Set the engine control sequence to normal.
3). Disable the thrust spoilers.
4). Turn on the Flight Director.
5). For takeoff, throttle up to around 90.
6). Once you are in the sky, change the engine flight rating on the overhead panel to climb. This clamps the throttle in safe limits for a steady climb.
7). Raise the landing gear, and verify that none of the failure lights for the landing gear illuminate.
8). Raise the nose.
9). Once you have reached your cruising altitude, set the engine flight rating to cruise. Push the throttle up to full. You can turn on the afterburners, but I don't recommend it because this plane already uses a lot of fuel and the speed boost isn't really worth it.

Landing
For landing, make sure to set the throttle to about 35. Set the engine flight rating to climb, and then on final approach make sure to disable the flight ratings. Set the brakes to auto.

System Descriptions

Hydraulic System
This plane has three hydraulic systems: Green, which is powered by engines 1 and 2 and powers landing gear and intakes; Yellow, which is powered by engines 2 and 4 and powers the intakes and landing gear; and Blue, which is powered by engines 3 and 4 and powers the intakes. Each hydraulic system can be selected through the overhead panel.

Engines
This Concorde is powered by 4 jet turbines. The two inboard engines have multiple exhausts, while the two outboard engines only have single exhausts due to space limitations. Each engine is equipped with fire suppression systems in the event of a fire. In real life, the F/E would close an engine's intake in the event of a failure to minimize drag and stress on the airframe. Obviously this is Stormworks so that's not going to make a difference but it's cool either way. The engine control sequence switch changes the engine throttles between two PID controllers. The normal setting has a smooth, more inaccurate PID but is smoother, while the starting PID is sharper and more exact. Leaving the control sequence on the starting setting in air will cause shaking and exploding noises, so I wouldn't recommend doing that.

Cooling
This plane has simulated overheating in some systems. In theory, if the brake fans are left off, while rolling down the runway with the brakes engaged, you may encounter a brake failure, but I am not really sure if that system is working at the moment. The equipment bay can also overheat if the flight director or the avionics switches are turned on, causing a loss of power to the gyro. To prevent this from happening, turn on one of the equipment bay cooling fans.

Known issues
-The gyro and roll stabilization sometimes lean to the left
-The rudder may sometimes become jammed, just move it left and right and it usually unjams eventually
-Overuse of the rudder at low speeds may sometimes result in an uncontrollable spiral
-Engine anti-ice does not currently do anything
