It is also somewhat hilarious that it causes things like Giga-Tarquin tbh. My main curiosity is if it's only interacting with the sorta named unique chars who pop up every so often or if its everything that has a statblock, but without being able to replicate it its hard for me to check either way.
Thanks for the information either way, I'll put a disclaimer in the description about it at least given I can now say its not one isolated incident.
The first NPC gaining stats is an oddity though. Did the same thing happen with any voidwoken if you tested that at all? I wonder if its a scope bug where it is somehow inheriting changes to players on to humanoid NPC's, or if its literally everything
Its odd, if it was purely base game vanilla causing the issue I'd have expected way more reports. Wonder if its somehow a base file issue. I don't suppose you've ever used any nexusmods or the like that install directly to your game directory?
Unfortunately troubleshooting this is a pain because this is what, the second ever mention from 4k+ people using it.
Have you tried without skip act 1 as well? I'm not particularly familiar with it, if it only does what its name says it might well be fine regardless, but to skip act 1 safely I'd assume it'll mess with levels and the like to start you at a stage where you won't be instakilled for being level 1 in act 2, which might well be the cause.
