-horde with mobs who are too strong for that kind of format (sunward isles ones)
-high stress damage at every turn, almost no heal for it
-limited provisions, not even close to enough for ALL the status effects and DOT from the horde
-no drops, just a mediocre reward for completing the quest, not even a boss drop
-only got illnesses from the end screen, not counting the free ones coming with the mob attacks
and then, the absolute worst part:
-perma hero death (please learn how vanilla hordes work)
-I LOST ALL THE HIGH TIER EQUIPMENT ON MY (NOW PERMA-DEAD) LV 6 HERO EVEN THO I FINISHED THE HORDE AND BOSS WITH THE REMAINING 3, IT WASN'T GIVEN BACK TO ME AT THE END OF THE COMBAT LIKE REGULAR DARKEST DUNGEON, IT WASN'T IN MY CHEST AT THE HAMLET, IT HAS GONE NOWHERE
Please, fix your mod, since i cannot remove it from my save, it's the absolute least that could be done
is the extra wave tacked onto the end strictly necessary? i beat the boss. i'm done. my team is exhausted, i'm exhausted. let me go home.
doesn't help that it's buggy as all shite and doesn't end even after the bar was long filled.
the unique boss trinkets are situational at best, and i can get SI trinkets in ways that isn't an hour long slog.
cleared it twice. never again.
Deaths are permanent, unlike the harvest, meaning you have little reason to engage with it.
Stress is fairly intense, and often requires a dedicated stress healer healing every turn to stay on top of it.
You receive no rewards beyond the completion rewards, making it almost pointless to risk losing a lvl 6 hero if you're not completely confident you'll win *that* run.
Unlike the harvest, the corpse-enemies, while perhaps annoying, are harmless and are often best ignored.
And the damage output of some enemies seems rather inconsistent, with some dealing damage like you'd expect for a lvl 6 mission, like the halberd using dwarves, while the oni deal shockingly little damage; I think the highest I saw was a 9.
