Description
_____________________________________________

IMPORTANT PLEASE SEE
_______________________________________________

This mod has to be loaded above base SI and have high priority in the load order. It has the potential to break your save if it is not.

That being said, multiple UI changes to the farmstead had to be made in order to make this mod work properly, so be aware that base CoM missions will be affected slightly visually.
__________________________________________

This mod is a continuation of the Sunward Isles Mod. Fight hordes of yokai in the Hamlet and back in the Isles using wave-based quests that are used in the farmstead.

ACTIVATING MISSIONS

Starting on week 60, provided you have 4 lv 6 heroes, you will get the introduction quest to his expansion. Beating that will unlock the wave-based missions.

FEATURES
This mod has the following:
- 7 new enemies that inhabit the Isles
- 4 new bosses that can appear in high level wave-based missions
- New Curios that appear in between waves

OTHER RELATED MODS
There are separate mods with Sunward rarity trinkets for Marvin Seo's Class mods, S-Purple's Class mods, a SI-centric class., and a new darkest level boss.

COMPATIBILITY
The most likely mods that can cause problems are mods that affect CoM waves. Be very careful to make sure this mod has a higher load order than other mods like this to help ensure compatibility. As this mod is new, there is the possibility that there will be some issues that I am unfamiliar with pop up, please let me know and I will do my best to deal with any problems when I have the time for it.

This does require both Color of Madness dlc and Sunward Isles mod to function

KNOWN BUGS
In base SI, there was an issue with the SI battle music being triggered by certain class mod attacks. I believe I managed to fix it in the base mod, but unfortunately I had to undo the changes for this mod to function. The base mod should still have this fixed, so if that issue becomes a nuisance, I encourage you to use the base mod for the time being.

A CRASH IS OCCURRING WHILE I'M LOADING INTO A WAVE-BASED QUEST
Usually this kind of issue is due to a low load order. Try moving NP and SI to the very top of the load order and see if that helps. If it doesn't you're going to have exit the quest either by using a save editor or deleting your raid.persist.json (including the one in the backup folder). If you're having issues fully deleting the file, try setting your steam status to "Offline". From there you can either uninstall the mod or try the quest again with the high load order. If the quest was started with Night Parade and SI being in a high load order, or these fixes don't work, I'm going to need a mod list/collection so I can try and replicate it.

I'M CRASHING WHILE TRYING TO FIGHT THE BOSS FOR THE SI WAVE-QUEST
We're working to try and fix this issue, but the cause seems to be a bit ambiguous. What we do know is that right now is that game-speed related mods have been prone to cause this issue. Mods that increase combat speed and walk speed have been shown to cause crashes such as these. If you have any mod that increases game speed and run into this issue, surrender the quest, remove the mod, and restart the quest. If that doesn't fix the issue, then please let me know in the bug reports discussion.

This mod does require the Color of Madness dlc and Sunward Isles Mod to work properly.

I have seen plenty bad mod design in my life, but hot damn, this one takes the cake

-horde with mobs who are too strong for that kind of format (sunward isles ones)
-high stress damage at every turn, almost no heal for it
-limited provisions, not even close to enough for ALL the status effects and DOT from the horde
-no drops, just a mediocre reward for completing the quest, not even a boss drop
-only got illnesses from the end screen, not counting the free ones coming with the mob attacks

and then, the absolute worst part:

-perma hero death (please learn how vanilla hordes work)
-I LOST ALL THE HIGH TIER EQUIPMENT ON MY (NOW PERMA-DEAD) LV 6 HERO EVEN THO I FINISHED THE HORDE AND BOSS WITH THE REMAINING 3, IT WASN'T GIVEN BACK TO ME AT THE END OF THE COMBAT LIKE REGULAR DARKEST DUNGEON, IT WASN'T IN MY CHEST AT THE HAMLET, IT HAS GONE NOWHERE

Please, fix your mod, since i cannot remove it from my save, it's the absolute least that could be done

I loaded into the Nurarihyon quest, but it crashes in the loading screen, is there a way to return to hamlet? Stuck and my run is ruined

:stress:Very not recommended! My 149 week archive has been destroyed and is stuck loading. It should have been an excellent mod, but this bug is too serious. If you want to try, be sure to back up the archive. My dungeon time has come to an end :(

yeah maybe you don't go about making a wave based mode without figuring out how COM worked around permadeath. they did that for a reason.

is the extra wave tacked onto the end strictly necessary? i beat the boss. i'm done. my team is exhausted, i'm exhausted. let me go home.

doesn't help that it's buggy as all shite and doesn't end even after the bar was long filled.

the unique boss trinkets are situational at best, and i can get SI trinkets in ways that isn't an hour long slog.

cleared it twice. never again.

The mod is broken I played for 82 weeks without any problems, but when I entered the event of this mod, the game started to close without giving any error, I cannot rewind in any way because it saves on the loading screen, in short, I lost 82 weeks of game saves.

Very good mod, but i CANNOT recommend it due to the frequency of it bricking save files, and since you have to be atleast a good way into a save to access this, you lose massive amounts of time to it.

Let me be honest, in my opinion the endless mode isn't very well designed.

Deaths are permanent, unlike the harvest, meaning you have little reason to engage with it.
Stress is fairly intense, and often requires a dedicated stress healer healing every turn to stay on top of it.
You receive no rewards beyond the completion rewards, making it almost pointless to risk losing a lvl 6 hero if you're not completely confident you'll win *that* run.
Unlike the harvest, the corpse-enemies, while perhaps annoying, are harmless and are often best ignored.
And the damage output of some enemies seems rather inconsistent, with some dealing damage like you'd expect for a lvl 6 mission, like the halberd using dwarves, while the oni deal shockingly little damage; I think the highest I saw was a 9.
