Build your own Cape Town (Savegame)

Description
After more than 3 years, I'm thrilled to announce the release of the "Build your own Cape Town" Savegame for Cities Skylines (PC).

This project will enable anyone to rebuild, redesign and re-imagine the city of Cape Town, South Africa. With realistic game-scale, hand-painted terrain and complete road, rail, sea and air links - you can focus on individual projects or recreate the who whole metropolitan area.

From Camps Bay to Canal Walk, Athlone to Mouille Point, Table Mountain to Paarden Eiland - this project features the full spectrum of infrastructure, industrial, commercial, residential, retail and tourism project opportunities to choose from.

Connect the unfinished highways, develop a secondary airport or refresh the urban landscape with green space. The goal of this project is to provide a structured set of constraints within which to be creative, have fun and experiment.

This Savegame is Mod-heavy but not Asset-heavy. Please see the associated Collection for everything you should need to run the project.

First release, please be gentle. I think there will be a lot of teething problems.

Lastly, I could really use some help with setting the thumbnail image... this one make me sad. :(

I must say the attention to detail on the infrastucture is CRAZY! I was suprised to see the saltriver circle and even th M5-N1 intersection.:steamhappy:

Yeah I tried smoothing but it doesn't seem to do the trick I'm afraid. Does it on flatter surfaces as well.

SparkyDawg, I get those too (at certain angles / sun positions)... I have a feeling it is because I havent smoothed the terrain beneath all the mountain roads and paths... I'll try my side but maybe you could try that as well?

So first off, amazing work! Really stellar. One question though. The roads in the distance have a strange outline. Sort of like terrain tearing. I'll post some pics below. Any thoughts on what's causing that? Thanks so much!

Yes Mandalorian, no trees.

2 reasons -
1. I'm not great with vegetation
2. I wanted to make sure decent FPS would be possible for more people

So, are you running?

Question it has no trees is that how it is supposed to be?

Loaded via running fix simulation error on Loading Mod Screen.

Had to clear all traffic with TM:PE one loaded as none would move they were just frozen. Plus it doesn't generate any outside train traffic at all even after clearing all traffic.

One trick i also used was unsubscribe from the collection and run the game, exit then resubscribe to the collection and then run it with loading screen,
