Ever wanted to build roads without using your military? Well, this mod's got you covered.

Build Roads Better adds another method for constructing your empire-spanning road network. You will now find a button labelled "Build Roads" right next to the good ol' "Build" button. After 50 gold is payed and 200 days are waited, your territory will have its very own road network. Any adjacent territory which has also built roads will connect up. My roads work identically to military roads with the exception that they also increase supply limit. You can also still build military roads if you're in a hurry.

I'm open to any suggestions!

Please report bugs to the corresponding thread.

Should be compatible with any mod that doesn't alter the province window GUI. I hope to make it compatible with these sorts of mods soon!

English localisation only.

I've updated the UI and managed to get it working; testing it with Menander and the GUI works without any problems. Do you want me to send you the updated province.gui file, or would you prefer I uploaded it on Steam Workshop seperately?

Yeah, the mod's not updated for 1.5... I may get around to it, but I'm not playing Imperator much these days. Anyone is free to update this mod if I don't.

I love this mod. However, I think that it interferes with the province UI in that I can no longer see my Procurators, Civ efforts, Infrastructure Improvements and other such provincial bonuses.

I would really appreciate if this were added to the macro builder, even if it had compatibility issues with other mods. Perhaps make a different version with this function while leaving the basic one available? :)

It's something that I would like to do, however I am trying to make this mod as lightweight as possible. If I learn of a way to add it to the macro builder without conflicting with other mods that also alter the macro builder then I will do it.
